The Virginia chapter has been formed to provide D&E Alumni and friends that reside in Virginia, an opportunity to connect with fellow Virginians, share our special D&E memories and stay in touch with dear 'ol D&E.  Currently, we are organizing and planning the structure of the chapter.  One of our major objectives is to have at least one chapter event in a different region of Virginia each year.  An event would include D&E alumni, their guests and representatives from the College.  What kind of events?  Well, everything from a "D&E Live" dinner program to a dinner cruise to a visit to one of Virginia's historic locations, are all being considered.  Another purpose of the chapter will be to include representatives of the College at each event to provide us the latest news from campus.  And finally, the chapter hopes to connect alumni on a local level, to rekindle our connection with the College and nuture fellowship among alumni.
